Weeks 17 + 18 - Incorporating AI?!

We are excited to share the advancements we have accomplished in the past two weeks as we continue to develop our "Sugar Friendly" app!

User testing and design:

We conducted several more rounds of user testing to gather feedback and insights on our app. We used this feedback to refine the layout and design of the app. We tried to come-up with a color pallet for the design, and started working on the graphical user interface.

In addition to having another meeting with Hezi, our design mentor, and we had the opportunity of meeting Maayan, a GUI expert. We found the meeting with Maayan very productive as she mentioned out critical issues with our design.

Incorporating AI:

As we wanted our app to provide an extraordinary experience to our users, we thought: "Hey, why wouldn't we incorporate an AI feature to our app?"

And thus our scanner had come to life.

In order to provide our users with as much confidence as possible about the dishes they are eating, we want to incorporate a dish scanner to the app. Whenever a user would eat a dish at a certain restaurant, he/she would be able to take a picture of the dish, and receive from the scanner the nutritional values of it. At these weeks, we are performing research about this option to figure out if it's possible and achievable within our narrow time-frame.
