Week 10 - Screens!

This week, we began working on the first skeleton for our app!

After a short sketching session, we came up with two different layouts for the app. The first layout took inspiration from the famous Google Maps, as its main feature was a big map in the middle of the screen, which allowed the user to see the closest restaurants near him. The second one went on a different direction and took inspiration from the famous delivery app Wolt. Like Wolt, the layout had an "exploration" theme - a type of theme which encourages the user to explore the different parts of the app and discover its features all by himself.

After meeting with Hezi, the UI/UX expert of the Milab program, we decided to go for the second layout, as it followed our vision to add an entertaining feel to our app.

Later this week, we dove headfirst into creating the backbone of our app, starting with the home page. Using the powerful design tool Figma, we crafted a primary skeleton that will serve as the basic foundation for our app's development. With Figma, collaboration was a breeze, allowing us to quickly iterate and make adjustments to the design in real-time. This was just the beginning and we can't wait to see what the future holds for our app.
