This week began with getting to know one another while we chatted about who we are, our hometowns, our different fields of study, and our interests and passions.
As the staff revealed to us, the main topic we had to follow was - food.
After a brief brain-storming session, we decided to investigate on two main domains: Nutrition for diabetics and Dining and food as a holistic experience.
Following the instructions from the project staff, each team member performed interviews with experts in these domains. We all learned about the various challenges that these two fields encounter, the main goals and wishes for these domains in the future from the experts’ point of view and some of their ideas for innovations related to their fields.
As we finished summarizing the interviews, we had a group meeting in which we shared our insights and thoughts regarding what we learned.
The interview process was an interesting and eye-opening experience, that had brought up excitement and anticipation for what the project would bring about in the future.
